This is great. The best time to answer a question is before it is asked. You can almost picture it. Someone steps up to this display and says, “Well, how does this thing work?’ and then looking up saying, “Oh”.

Home Depot has some really nice Zip-It displays in their stores. Usually at the end of an aisle.

Zip-It On A Strip

This is what a Zip-It display looks like when they hang them from a strip. They are usually on a shelving upright.

That's not hair!

You stick a Zip-It down the drain hoping for the sweet, sweet satisfaction of yanking out a long, slimy rope of long lost hair and assorted scum. Then this happens. What the…? Give me break. That’s not fair. That’s not fair at all.

Tenacity

This clog isn’t much to look at.  But the tenacity it shows in clinging to the Zip-It is truly inspiring.

Here is a nice shot of a clog the moment it gets released from its bondage.  You can just sense the tension as the clog clings to the Zip It as the drain tries to pull it back down.  Stupid drain.

Imagine How Slow This Drain Had To Be

Let’s not even discuss the two tone hair color – okay, maybe we should.  There is really only two possibilities 1) There’s at least two people with different hair colors living together, or 2) A brunette just moved into an apartment previously occupied by a blonde.  Just saying.

Okay, sorry about that.  Considering the size of this clog, how was it even possible that any water, ANY water, could get down the drain at all.  I am assuming they had to bail out the shower after each use.

The Pink Flamingo

What I really appreciate about this picture, beyond the huge and disgusting clump of hair that Kathy from Minnesota yanked out of her bathtub drain, is the Pink Flamingo body scrubber thing that was forced to bear witness to the whole lurid thing.
