Even though the good folks at Ales and Trails call out the fairer sex as a bunch of liars (sorry ladies), she has a point about how much hair goes down the drain everyday.
Any female who tells you that she doesn’t have to clean her bathtub/sink/bathroom floors every day because of hair shedding all over the place is lying.
The average human has 100,000 hairs on their head. Blondes have more hair with around 140,000 while redheads have the least with about 90,000. And the average adult will lose between 60 and 100 hairs every day.
Let’s say you’ve got hair that’s about a foot long (I’m no hairdresser, but that doesn’t seem out of line). That means you blondes have 26.5 miles of hair on your head. MILES (!). And you are leaving a trail of 15 miles of hair all over the place. That’s a lot of hair.

Jared found the Zip It at Home Depot or Lowes and I was initially skeptical that a little wire could effectively clean out our drains….. I’d recommend the Zip It to anyone that wants to keep drains clean without harsh chemicals or expensive plumber visits. Clean away!
